Effects of Stress

Indeed, stress can affect our body,thoughts and feelings even our behavior.

But recognising the symptoms can give us a jump on managing them effectively. If not checked it can lead to many health problems such as high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes etc. You may think illness is the cause of that nagging headache but insomnia and stress may be the cause.

As humans we all need to take some time out of work and the everyday hustle of life and rest because all work and no play makes jack a dull boy as the saying goes. Our bodies need rest,when we rest it reduces the chance of getting sick almost every time because the mind and body is at ease.

When the mind is not stressed we get inspired and function well during the course of executing our day-to-day activities. We get motivated and new ideas sets in but when the mind is not relaxed and too occupied,it most times pushes a person to make wrong decisions and it can cause psychological problems.

There are common effects of stress on the body, mood and behaviour that we should take note of

  3. Chest pain
  4. Insomnia
  5. Fatique

In conclusion we should endeavour to give our body and mind enough rest. It would be make us more active and healthy.

This is so true.

I´ve been through a period where I had chest pressure and shaking hands when entering the office. I did not sleep well, pulled myself back and did not want to talk to anyone.
I really suffered.
But I had a really well paid job and I had that fear of loosing a job could mean living on the streets. It was that inner fear that lot of people have. They´re afraid of loosing their job, because it´s just one step away from living on the streets.

Those inner fear or existencial fears raise the stresslevel, too.

I quit my job in May 2017 and took a 10Week break.
Sometimes I think it was not enough....
But it´s ok.

If you have a strong partner at your side you´re really lucky!
That´s why I love my wife, ´cause sometime she carries me and sometimes she kicks my ass.
