🌿Greens, Your Key to Vitality 🌿
Fruits & Veggies Monday Entry
Today I am eating fresh greens harvested from our local community garden just two blocks from us.
The community garden is open and free for anyone to use. There is already a large variety of plants, flowers, trees, vines and especially GREENS!!!
Greens are absolutely packed full of nutrients, minerals, vitamins and pure life creating energy.
They are way underrated and under eaten.
Fresh, vibrant greens, herbs and vegetables should be a large portion of our diet. Many people could find major changes in their health and vitality by simply incorporating MORE GREENS.
Tips to help us eat more greens:
Grow them yourself! If you are around them and you have an abundance you're more likely to eat them.
Put them in smoothies, or hide greens by blending into sauces and soups.
Make sure to eat at least one salad a day.
Stir fry greens like kale, chard or mustard for breakfast with onions and potatoes
Use a juicer or a blender to make green juices in advance.
Make one big salad without dressing on it and eat through out the week.
Remind each other to eat our greens 💕
Arugula, swiss chard, kale, mini broccoli, mustard greens and dandelion greens freshly harvested from our community garden!
And a dried Calendula flower harvested last fall.
This is my first time entering the fruits and veggies competition.
Thanks @lenasveganliving for the opportunity to share healthy eating with a larger community.
I am excited to connect with more of you and inspire each other 🌟
Here are a few more pictures from the garden and my neighborhood.
Thanks & many healthy blessings

I used to juice kale daily. The vibrance I felt was amazing. I need to get back in that practice.
That would be powerful! I often eat steamed or stir fry kale for breakfast...and dinner, and lunch 😋 Kale Yeah!
What's your favorite kind of kale?
That sounds really good! Kale yeah! Lol! I like pretty much all of them. I like the dinosaur kale a lot.
So what about you?
I love the Russian kale! Its the one that looks kind of spiky, and can have either purple or white veins... It's super tasty picked and eaten fresh 🌱
Those are delicacies. I wander around my yard eating leaves. My neighbors think I'm a crazy hippie probably lol
that is great! where do you live again? (can't remember if you told me already....) :-D
Kentucky. What about you? For certain things, it's the best soil and climate.
I am in Oregon! :-D
This is absolutely beautiful and very inspiring post @onewithearth 🍇 🍎 🍌🍓🍉 🍇
Thank you 💕
I am deeply inspired by fruits and veggies and the powerful healing that takes place in the body. as the proper fuel is provided we are able to heal ourselves, through our own Will and action! It is the missing key for so many who suffer and remain disconnected from Life.
Thanks for hosting this contest and for your dedication to health. Infinite blessings and peace to you 🌈 and to us All

That brocolli... 😍😍😍 love it. We have tender stem broccoli almost every week.
Yumm!! Soo tasty. This one has a heart, nutty flavor 😊. Where do you get your broccoli from?
Oh we just buy it in the supermarket, I am hoping that some day I will be able to grow my own but for now the shop is it. 😊
Looks amazing. Greens are a foundation for good health... Love the photos.
