Adrenal Fatigue is unfortunately real
Adrenal fatigue is a bit controversial, but I think I have this condition as well as insulin resistance. About 4 years ago, I read the book below, followed the plan, and lost about 30 pounds in 9 months. I felt fantastic!
I highly recommend this plan. It says it's for a "mama", but my husband loosely followed it with me and he lost around 50 pounds. It works so well. Part of the plan is controlling insulin levels, which helped me immensely. I have followed so many diets in the past trying to lose weight, and none would work. As in I wouldn't lose even 1 pound.
Now I am again overweight, even more than before. And I think I also have adrenal fatigue in addition to insulin resistance.
My symptoms include:
feeling like crap and sluggish nearly all of the time
craving cheese and chocolate
sinus and allergy problems which are getting worse
problems sleeping, that I did not experience before
brain fog
and some more I can't remember
Currently, taking these minerals again, which I had stopped using, of course adding back apple cider vinegar, and will update with more as I decide.

I agree that this can be a real problem! Also check your Thyroid level, low thyroid will also cause this problem.
Moringa and ashwaganda may help you too, by increasing energy without additional adrenal loading like caffine will do.
