How to build a body doing only pushups?



Pushups are the best body-weight exercise for whole upper body but if you do only one, the classic version, there is not so much to achieve. Because of that, today I want to teach you some other, also important version of pushups with which you will achieve excellent results in the warmth of your home, without the need for any additional props.

This is a five variants push-ups with which you can do wonders and build upper body as you always wanted.

T-Pushup


In this variation of a push-up you go from the starting position of the push-up, going down, and while you going up agan, you need to make move with yor hand up so you make letter T with your both hands. After that, go back again in a pushup position and repeat the exercise, but this time with a deflection on the other side. If it's too easy for you, you can increase the intensity of exercise by adding small dumbbells.

"Spiderman" Pushup


In this exercise we start again from the starting position for the push-up, but when lowering down attract the knee towards the elbow. Each time change the sides and knees.

Wide Pushup


Start as a "normal" pushup but put hands wider than shoulder wide. In this way chest muscles are more activated without triceps.

Narrow Pushup


The reverse version of a wide pushup is a push-up with closely set palms. In this way you hit triceps mostly and then chest.

Feet-elevated pushups


You just need to put your legs on chair and do "normal" pushup. The higher your legs are you will work your shoulders, core and chest more.
