CLUBBING FINGERS!
Clubbing fingers can also be caused by alcohol overdose or drug addiction. Sometimes they are congenital and they don't symbolise any kind of disease.
This symptom is caused by connective tissue hypertrophy of the distal parts of the fingers.
Sometimes they are called "Hippocratic fingers" because Hippocrates was probably the first person who connected this symptom with the disease and documented it.
What kind of diseases can be a source of clubbing fingers?
For example:
- Lung cancer
- Complicated tuberculosis
- Congenital cyanotic heart disease
- Grave's disease (autoimmune hyperthyroidism)
And many many more.

Yes. My uncle has it but his fingers are not so big as they're in the picture above.
Do you know if he got it successfully treated? The condition looks painful!
As much as I know it's not painful and don't need to be treated. It's a symptom of other more serious diseases and they needs to be treated.
