The Cure-All Elixir
This has been a cure-all in Home Remedies and Folk Medicine for decades (Holistic Approaches).
There are two stages (outside of normal PH balance), being Acidosis (too acidic) and Alkalosis (too alkaline)... each can lead to their own health issues.
The proper PH is Vital for proper transport and absorption of minerals and normal enzyme function. It is also vital for proper thyroid and metabolism function... and more.
Your PH
By drinking a concoction of two teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar and one of Lemon Juice in a glass of water before each meal. This can effectively and naturally bring back your Stomach PH to a normal level*. Apple Cider Vinegar has a PH of approximately 2.5, which is very close to your proper stomach acid levels.
Therefore it is really good for soothing your stomach and issues such as Heartburn, Acid Reflux and Indigestion (as these are conditions in which the stomach is too Alkaline).
Age
As we age our PH begins to elevate higher and higher making us far more Alkaline making it more difficult to digest proteins and absorb minerals like Calcium. This then creates a buildup of Calcium in the soft tissues causing calcification with health issues like; becoming stiffer of muscle action, developing arthritis, bursitis, developing cataracts, affecting the nerves for neuritis, developing Kidney and Gall Stones.
Stress
Stress produces Cortisol which in turn raises the alkalinity (Producing Alkalosis) of the blood. Once this occurs you start to loose Potassium, which creates even greater Alkalinity.

Immune System
People rush to Vitamin C when they want a boost against colds, viruses, flues etc., unfortunately they rush to products made of Asorbic Acid (a pseudo vitamin C, not a true vitamin C complex). Most of these are synthesized from corn starch and asorbic acid (neither of which have Vitamin C). You would be far better off taking Acidic Acid (Apple Cider Vinegar) as the benefit of Vitamin C lay in the Acid.
Stay Away
From Alkalized Water, sugars, hidden sugars (pastas, alcohol,juices,etc.) or anything that will raise your PH levels to the Alkaline state.

I mix 2 tbs of apple cider to a glass of water, they say its good in lowering cholesterol.dunno if thats true!
I have two personal experiences, one my own and one a friend that had a heart condition (and was recommended to ACV by his Doctor).
Both of us have had significant drops in body fat (with no other change in diet) and he in his LDL levels.
that's probably where it came from..gotta find that research when i have the time..or did u put it here??

Funny that there have been personal experience in the success... eggs are good, eggs are bad, eggs are good scenario playing out here. And their argument is not what is written here... but I thank you for the viewpoint.
I use Apple Cider vinegar as an ingredient when I can. For me, a diabetic, I find that it helps to control my blood glucose levels.
