Today's Weed News for July 20th 2018 #ANTITUMOR

For today's weed news we go to Great Britain.

The fact that cannabis has cancer-fighting properties is no longer just a stoner-tale. More and more doctors are coming out of the woodwork in agreement and there are constantly new studies popping up supporting this fact.

This week, the British Journal of Pharmacology published a brand new article that supports the calim that certain cannabinoids can fight cancerous tumors! The article specifically addresses phytocannabinoids, those cannabinoids that are produced naturally by the cannabis plant.

Phytocannabinoids can "stop cancer cells from dividing and invading normal tissue, and they may block the blood supply in tumors" claim researchers who contributed to the British publication.

They added that other cannabinoids may also aid the body in producing a stronger immune response when faced with growing and spreading tumors.

Because of the countless legal roadblocks that still exist in the United States and abroad, doctors and scientists are often prevented from properly studying cannabis and its effect on cancerous tumors.

But as more studies and articles like the one in the British Journal of Pharmacology emerge, we inch closer to having scientific backing for the amazing healing effect of cannabis.

And with each passing year, it seems that the legal roadblocks preventing proper research are beginning to fall to the wayside worldwide.

Although researchers are very hopeful and are beginning to believe in the healing power of MMJ, they still urge that people use cannabis alongside there current cancer treatments, instead of replacing them with just cannabis.

Let's keep fighting the good fight y'all so that anybody who could benefit from this amazing plant may have access to it at their discretion not anybody else's!
