Thanks very much!! I have many techniques planned but I want to make sure I'm taking the time to make the posts clear. In that light thanks for your questions they will help improve my posts- the count to 7 is personal preference, I've always just been counting at a speed and at a rate of breath that feels natural to end at 7. Laying down is important for the body scan as opposed to sitting or standing, because those postures require a degree of stretching or balance however slight- the body scan is meant for sole focus on breathing and sensation to relieve as much tension as possible.
