When life crashes on you
The whole world seems to be against you
No family or friend to lean on
The past keeps haunting you
All you think of is painkiller
A pill to make you feel better
Lift your head high and say no to DRUG abuse
You think you know it all
You see no reason to see a pharmacist
You patronize unqualified drug sellers
You go against the pharmacist prescription
Self medication is your yearly routine
You have an overwhelming desire to continue taking a drug after treatment

It make you feel on top of the world
You enjoy the false scene that plays in your head
For a while everything seems to be alright
It's the best way to be relived,you say
It gives you guts you never earned
It skyrockets your age in a giffy

Your brain gets flooded with chemical messenger dopamine
You get less pleasure from things you once enjoyed
It causes changes in the brain circuits
It affects your learning,behaviour,memory,decision making and judgement
You become a threat to the environment
You put your family and friends in jeopardy

Drugs are made to cure disease
Drugs are made to control or eliminate symptoms
Drugs are made to arrest disease progression
Drugs are made to prevent disease
Drugs are made to save lives
Drugs are made for the modification of physiological function

Say no to hard drugs. ...have lost a lot of friends to drug as they abused them to a point of no return ....I hope we continue to do a stand up like this so people would know the dangers and truth about it.

This menace is a cancer that has eaten deep into the society but i believe that all things are possible.
The current statistics given by BBC on Codeine consumption via syrup is also disheartening but all hand is on deck now to curb all this.

A temporary safe haven but a lifetime menace and destruction to one self's. If life is tough need us to be tougher to face each challenge. For if no one's we think we can turn to, there is ourselves that we can hold on to. But still some choose to walk in the wrong way. Steem on gurl :)

Where have you been? You havent posted for a while
I felt frustrated for having so much reward in my post that's why I've gone for a while! Hahaha, nah just kidding we have been to other city we attend the interment of mother inlaw of my hubby's brother :)
