Spiced Chia Pudding - Gluten Free, Dairy free, Paleo

in #health7 years ago

The hardest part is deciding if you want your Chia pudding for breakfast or dessert. Chia seeds are packed full of goodness. A great source of Omega 3, antioxidants, calcium, fiber, and protein. They make for a quick and easy breakfast that tastes great and will keep you going for your morning. But they can also make a great healthy snack, or dessert. These little Chia seeds are pretty versatile with a wide range of flavours that can be used. Here is a great one to get you started.

Looks delicious! I am hungry now @inspiredfood

Thanks....it is a great recipe. I usually have eggs but this is a great alternative every now and again for me.

This looks good. I tend to like warm pudding. Is there any reason why this couldn't or shouldn't be heated in a sauce pan and served warm? (I'm new to Paleo).

I haven't tried this one warm. Chia seeds absorb the liquid and change the consistency of the mixture. If you wanted it warm you would probably have to heat the mixture after the seeds have been soaked. Not sure how it would go. Let me know how you go if your try it
