Swapping Breakfast for Raw Juice!!
After just recently buying a juicer and seeing how well it works, I decided to replace my breakfast with juice. Surprisingly, even though I hadn't eaten anything the entire morning beside the juice, I only start to feel hungry around lunch time. Another thing I noticed with the juicing is that I feel fuller throughout the day and I'm eating much less than usual.
The main reason I wanted to start juicing was to increase the amount of vitamins I was getting from my diet and having fresh juice on an empty stomach, I know I'm getting a huge nutritional boost first thing in the morning.
Some Health Benefits of Juicing
- Increase in energy
- Improved digestion
- Boosts immunity
- Weight loss
- Healthier hair and skin
- Helps balance hormones
- Helps with chronic illness
- Decrease allergies
- Better sleep
- Improves overall health including mental,
emotional and spiritual health
My Juicing Ingredients
- 4 Large carrots
- 1 Apple
- Some mint
- Cucumber (a piece about 10cm)
- Some kale
The juice really does not taste bad at all even my 3 year old cousin loves it.

Sounds great. It feels much more better in the morning not to have your stomach heavy full... I think I will try this Juicing out. Thanks f.r sharing. God Bless. Be Healthy.
The juice is definitely easier for your body to digest, but I actually feel fuller after having the juice compared to a normal breakfast... Thanks for stopping by.
I have been having raw fruits, veggies, and seeds shake every morning for the past month and a half now and my energy level has gone through the roof. There is nothing like the energy coming from veggies and fruits.
I will have to try your recipe. I mix a different variety of fruits and veggies in the morning. I would only suggest to you to add some seeds to your juices. Like flax, and chia seeds. It will give an extra boost to your body. You can also add cinammon and ginger. Amazing for speeding up your metabolism and energy. Ginger is especially great for inflammation. :)
Great post. Love it when people share some health posts around. :)
Thanks for the tips.... I've been juicing for less than a week and definitely want to try out different combinations of fruits and vegetables. I love ginger and usually have it as a tea with some lemon.
Play around with it.It is all about experimenting and finding the flavors you like. As it is incredibly healthy to get some raw fruits and veggies into your body. :)
I use ginger a lot. It is amazing for your body. :)
I am a big juicing fan. Big on raw fruit and veg generally. In the summer particularly the bulk of my diet moves towards raw.
Juicing is the change I needed in my diet, I don't think I would be able to eat the same amount of raw foods that I get from juicing.
I will start to juice regularly now. thanks for the article.
@seyiodus.
Love the breakfast replacement. I swapped for smoothies a while back. I can usually eat more calories if the food had already been "pre-chewed" by the blinder. I don't think a lot of people realize we don't chew our food properly for getting the maximum benefits from our fruits & veggies. Hence the smoothies :) I've heard, and its just a thought, that juicing removes the fiber from your fruits, which we need plenty of also. This is why I stick with smoothies, but fresh juice is still amazing! Great post
Been gaining quite a fair bit of weight since I started on Steemit (it's too addictive). Need to hit the gym more often and start back on my juicing. Thanks for the reminder. Upvoted and followed
