Not many vegans so not enough demand to put pressure on prices. Hopefully, this synth milk will change the industry.
The US's permissive stance on GMO should help that to happen - but you're going to have a lot of people saying it's not a good thing...

Dairy industry and farmers will be also likely to resist this technology by lobbying the governemnt... Sadly
