Tinnitus a real problem.
This week is the week of Tinnitus, to draw attention to a widespread problem that is taking an epidemic form.
With more and more young people exposed to loud noise this is going to be a big problem in the future.

Wow ! That's a nice write up.I did not know the meaning of tinnitus until I came across your post .with curiosity I check your previous post and find out it's meaning and how to cure tinnitus. Thanks for widening my horizon .May God give you more insight to affect our life more in Jesus name.
@funky68 Not a nice problem, but very a very important message. I used to hear the ringing in the ears frequently after band practice or pubs and clubs... very lucky mine wasn’t permanent ringing.... hope it dissipates for you regard @steemsausage
You're lucky indeed I got mine from playing music without protection.
Back in the day, no one wore protection... (in lots of areas!! ) it was just a given my ears would ring when I would get home... the room would also spin... but that’s another story... ohh those were the days my friend. Good message however, I am extremely lucky, you are very correct.
Hello funkie. What actually cause tinnitus and how can someone know that he is infected with tinnitus
Tinnitus can have several causes but the main cause is loosing frequencies in the ear, due to loud noises.
I played in a lot of bands without any ear protection. That's where I got it from I suspect. If you have it you will know. It can come in may forms like hissing/clicks/high frequency pitch sounds. It will always be there 24/7.
Have you tried ginkgo biloba? A lot of people are positive about it. Check it out here: http://sagaert.eu/ginkgo-biloba-supplements-help-tinnitus/
I think this problem should be right next to alcohol, smoking and resistance against antibiotics as being one the most dangerous health issues of the near future.
My mum hasn't slept a decent night in the last 20 years and a friend's sister declares rather to be deaf than to have to live with tinitus one more day. Apparently 10-15% of the people suffers from this disease, 40% of all musicians claim to have problems to some degree...
