Detox diet is a myth
At the beginning of the year, we are now looking for ways to do detox our body and clean it. There are lots of products to help us clean our body from toxins and make it feel better.
Detoxification of the organism through food and various preparations does not exist.

Apparently, the purpose of detoxification is to purify the body from harmful substances called "toxins", mostly by using specific foods and certain procedures. Some detoxification methods are supposedly targeting certain organs, while others claim that they can purify the entire body. There are various ways of detoxification, but one thing is common - they do not have a physiological basis.
Detoxification has no physiological basis.
Mostly, they are liquid diets based on fruit and vegetable juices with possible additives. One of the best known methods is based on six to twelve glasses of lemonade with maple syrup and cayman pepper every day.
It is obvious to put as diverse ingredients because it looks better in the eyes of the buyer.
How detox diet works?
In short, all detox diets are based on theory that the human body accumulates toxins. In their opinion, these are generally synthetic substances, because anything that is "natural" can not be harmful ... I hope you can see sarcasm in the last sentence.
Each substance is dangerous in large quantities.
What is not taken into consideration is that it is always important to be aware of the amount taken. Each substance is harmful if the dose is large enough! One may even die of water if he is drinking too much in too short time.
If it is an acute exposure to a higher concentration of some harmful substance, it is an emergency medical case and should seek medical help. If it is chronic exposure to a small amount, as is the case, there is a liver, kidney, and lungs will do the thing.
But detox diet helped me lose fat!
Of course you will lose body weight if you do not eat anything and just drink teas, coffe and vegetable juices. There is nothing strange about losing weight if you have a minimum calorie intake. However, such methods are not healthy. The initial drop in the weight is the result of water loss and later you will lose equal amount of fat and muscle tissue.
Do you guess what happens when you go after eating again as before?
The fats are returning even faster, and the muscles do not.
What is the best detox method then?
Liver, kidneys and lungs are responsible for the purification of our body from toxins. Only what a detox diet and various products are doing is helping to clean your wallet from the money.

Do not practice detox diets.
Your body works for detoxification throughout the year, every day.
You will be bombarded with various advertisements, smoothie preparations, and various other "tools" that offer detoxification from "unhealthy" eating during the holidays.
