23-Month-Old Female with Regressive Autism

A normally developing child developed regressive autism at 18 months. The child lost the ability to speak, make eye contact, and to interact socially. She developed repetitive movements and self-injurious behavior and after neuropsychiatric testing administered by a neurologist, was diagnosed with autism.
