Chefs Tips #1 – Kitchen Chatter
Many of us spend a lot of time in our kitchens preparing food. We don’t only want the food to taste nice, we also want the food to be as healthy and nutritious as possible.
One of the challenges a lot of us are faced with is to get the most out the freshness i.e. preserving our food so it last as long as possible without spoiling before we get to use it. Another challenge for those of us who want to use gluten free products, but we do want to bake that cake or cookies and thicken the gravy, how do we do it without the use of gluten. Well, those are some of the topics that will be covered in this series.
We will also be looking at conversion charts, because depending on which country you are from different unit of measure are used. I will be sharing the most popular and useful ones with you.

Never store bananas together with other fruit as they too contain a ripening agent and the other fruit will spoil faster than normal

Thanks for the tips... I knew about the Avo one... but where is the "top" of a banana? hahahaha (I laugh, but I'm being serious though :-))
the top of the banana is where they are joined to other bananas, so if you buy a bunch just wrap up the entire top section where they are all joined together.
