I don't no much about ADHD, but what i know is that special needs kids need special education. In Uganda, the government opened a full faculty at Kyambogo University to equip teachers with skills on how to handle such children, and we need to take them as real people but not to neglect them. This will impart a sense of belonging with them. On addition parents are also supposed to get skills on how to handle such kids and empowering them. Every child need a special attention to grow and develop cognitively.Sometimes lack of special attention from the parent can cause specific mental problems to children, we don't need drugs and medication but special attention and drugs may be later.
