Many restaurants serve water with lemon and several doctors tell their patients to take it in the morning. In this blog I will explain the benefits of lemon juice and how it improves your health.

You know that lemons are fruits of the citrus family. It is popular in a Asia, Europe and America. Fortunately, lemon trees produce fruit all year round , means you can easily get them in any market. Lemon contain high percentage of Vitamin C, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium and fiber. All this will help your body to stay healthy and better process other foods. Some of the healthy benefits of Vitamin C are:

  1. They are an excellent source of vitamin C.
    Citrus fruits are full of vitamin c, which is a primary antioxidant. Vitamin C helps protect your body’s cells from early degradation and premature againg. It also reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and common colds, such as the flu.
  2. Improve the quality of your skin.
    Vitamin C and other vitamins help reduce skin wrinkles and spots caused by the sun. The citrus juice improves the absorption of water in the body, so you will perceive how your skin will be much more hydrated.
  3. It helps you lose weight.
    You can add some lemon to your meals that will help you reduce your size. The antioxidants contained in lemons help your body metabolize fats faster. This will make you lose weight.
  4. Improve digestion
    Many people drink lemon juice as a laxative or to prevent intestinal constipation, Lemons help your digestion to be regular and constant making your body work better.
  5. Gives you a fresh breath
    The lemons when take after each meal help to maintain a fresh and smooth breath. The lemons remove from your mouth any odor that may have been left of the food, especially when it was prepared with many spices and condiments.
