Of Course not! So stat taking care of your skin before it's too late!

Why is it good for our skin?

Activated charcoal, which is carbon that's been treated to increase its absorbency, isn't new. It's been used in hospital emergency rooms for years to treat alcohol poisoning and drug overdoses. It works by attaching to toxins in the stomach and absorbing them before the bloodstream can.

DIY Activated Charcoal Face Mask Recipe

Note: Activated Charcoal is a bit messy to use and may stain fabrics. Avoid using white cloths or towels for removing your face mask, and make sure to clean up the bowls after use.

I was aware of uses of activated charcoal in some of the bleaching applications in industry and also for some chemical tests in labs. I did not know this application of activated charcoal for health. Will inform my wife. Thanks Upvoted.

I have posted a funny blog with Giraffe photos I have taken and a blog on tigers. It would be great if you can take a look when you have time. Your comments will enrich my Steemit experience. Thanks

Yeah, some people use charcoal for bleaching :)

Sure i'll go look your blog in a bit

thanks for this...

I believe you can remove the stains with dry cleaning. I have done quite a bit of work with extremely finely powdered laboratory grade activated carbon (the activation process is cooking it gently with sulphuric acid, btw, though in fact it is quite activated just from low-oxygen roasting it over fire), it is extremely hydrophobic and sticks to anything that is nonpolar (plastics, oils), so nonpolar solvents remove it. thus, dry cleaning. Dry cleaning solvent is a medium chain hydrocarbon around the same length as kerosene, except with the aromatic benzene containing fractions fully removed. You could probably use odourless kerosene or zippo fluid to get it to come off, and obviously, a soak in a fairly strong detergent solution overnight will get a lot out as well.

Woa! I didn't know that thank you for letting me know.

In my case it's easy for me not to get any fabric dirty with the charcol because it's a mission for me to look for those solution ╮(╯▽╰)╭

no problem :) yes, the sticky black powder can be a pest to clean.

Activated charcoal is so good for many things.
One unintended benefit is brushing your teeth with it for a week should already give modest results in whitening, brightening your smile :)
