Winter can be one of those times of year when we allow ourselves to gain a little weight and let go of ourselves. Having excess body fat at any time of the year will increase the risk of developing type II diabetes and high blood pressure.

On a lower level of importance with regards to health yet a more important one to most….winter is the best time to get started on getting yourself ready for beach season when it rolls around in the summer.

So What’s The Best Way To Effectively Burn Fat?

As the amount of fat we store is directly related to the food which we eat and how much exercise we perform, it makes sense that the best way to eradicate excess body fat is with diet and exercise. The most effective way of melting the pounds away is by entering a state of Ketosis. A Ketogenic (Keto) diet is one which is high in fat, has moderate protein, and very low carbohydrates.

Think along the lines of the Atkins Diet and the Cyclogenic Ketogenic Diet.

Of all the ways of burning body fat, a keto diet will be the one which burns the most and in the shortest amount of time. Unlike other diets, which focus on cutting back on calorie intake and performing intense cardio exercise, a keto diet works by changing the metabolic structure of the body. This means that it switches from burning calories and glucose for energy to the body's own fat reserves. Once the body begins to break down and metabolize the its fat, a state of Ketosis is achieved

Ketosis is the condition your body will enter, and Ketones are a chemical compound byproduct of it. In most cases this will signal that your body is now burning fat for energy instead of carbs and sugars. It is at this point when people begin to notice their weight loss, which happens at rocket speed. The great thing about a Keto diet is that you are not counting calories or spending each day feeling hungry. You get to eat plenty of keto-inducing foods, which are primarily high-fat, moderate protein, low-carb.

Some of the finest Keto-friendly foods are unprocessed meats, especially fatty cuts, eggs, fish, cheese, heavy cream, and leafy non-root vegetables. Imagine being able to enjoy a delicious and juicy beef burger, which has been topped with melting cheese, or creating your own Fajitas using an egg crepe as the wrap. There are so many food combinations you can enjoy while being able to remain in Ketosis.

In effect, any diet which is Ketogenic is going to be a clean one. Yes, there is a lot of meat, fish, and eggs, but these are not bad for you at all. The fact that you will be avoiding processed and sugar-laden foods means that you are actually most-likely eating better than you ever were before. Fat is your friend, without it many vitamins and minerals essential to human health would fail to be absorbed and utilized.

If you truly want to lose body fat and improve your physique and general health, then low-carb is the way to go. It is the most effective method of fat burning you can perform, and will have you seeing results in days rather than months.

I have recently started to work out again and i have been a long time listener to Joe Rogan, (UFC commentator and podcaster). He speaks highly of this method of burning fat.
He got me started with it and i have been holding the Ketogenic diet for about three months. I have lost alot of excess weight and i havn't felt this good for a long while.

Nice compilation of steps to be taken to reduce fat. Also, I always suggest people to go for brisk and intense exercise for short duration should be preferred over long duration mild exercise by those aiming to lose weight.

I went through your website. It is good work which provides useful information at one place. But I would suggest a redesign of it. You can make it appear much better and user-friendly.

A very informative article, and I totally agree with the ketogenic diet being the best way to burn fat. i did it for about 4 months and it was great that I didn't have to eat that often and think about food all the time because I was always full.
Unfortunately it affected my sleep so I had to stop and go back to low carb.
