Year end detox with veggie dishes / 野菜料理で年末デトックスsteemCreated with Sketch.

It was a busy month with a family trip to Japan, work full days to cover expenses of moving to a new apartment etc. In the end as my partner caught a tough cold, I have to handle my full-time full-power daughter and all the other things by myself for few days. Although we skipped family Christmas gatherings, we ate quite heavily and spent lazy days.

I felt my body was quite heavy and came up an idea to do few days of detoxing. It's nothing special but I eat plain light veggie dishes, which is separately made from regular dishes for my appetite-full family ;)

Today I made leek soup that I learned from a book titled "French Women Don't Get Fat" written by Mireille Guiliano, former President and CEO of Clicquot, Inc. I made this soup time by time after I read the book more than ten years ago.

It's a super simple soup that chopped leek is cooked in water for an hour and seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper. I sprinkled modest amount of parmigiano reggiano on top. The leek is so tender and its plain nourishing taste satisfied me a lot.

For dinner, I'll make another simple veggie dish I learned from a book; boiled whole zucchini. It's introduced in an Italian language book. I'll steal some tomato sauce from my partner & daughter's zucchini-bacon tomato pasta ;)

I feel now away better with veggie dishes. I wish I welcome 2020 with a good body condition!


今月は日本行きがあって、大出費をカバーするべく仕事の鬼になって、お父ちゃんが風邪で倒れてワンオペになり(復活しました)、クリスマスのだらだらと食べ過ぎもあって、ここ数日なんとなく体が重くてすっきりしませんでした。

そんな時はデトックスをしようということで、食欲旺盛な家族とは別に野菜中心の軽めの食事をしています(ビールやワインはしっかり飲んでいますが w)。

今日のお昼はポロネギのデトックススープにしました。ポロネギを適当な量の水に入れて1時間ほど煮て、オリーブオイルと塩胡椒をしただけのシンプルなスープですが、ネギがほろほろでとてもおいしいです。パルメザンチーズを少しかけて食べました。

このスープはもうずいぶん前に読んだ『フランス女性は太らない』で知って、すっきりしたい時にもう何度も作っている鉄板デトックススープです。ドイツのAmazonで古書がいい感じの値段なので何かの機会にまた読んでみたいです。

夜ご飯は『おいしいイタリア語』という本に載っていたこれまたシンプルな野菜レシピ、ズッキーニのまるゆでにしようと思っています。お父ちゃんと子どもにはベーコンとズッキーニのトマトパスタを作るのでトマトソースを少しもらおうかな。

最近忘年会やパーティー続きで、いつもお腹が膨れてる状態だからデトックススープいいね〜日本のネギでも効果はあるのかな?作ってみよう^^

笑い話があって、本を読んだあとポロネギを探し歩いてようやく明治屋で見つけたら一本600円で、高い…と思ったもののこれじゃなきゃダメだと思って(若気の至り、馬鹿ですwww)衝動買いしてスープを作ったのを覚えています😅 下仁田ネギのような太いネギだとほろほろ食べ応えありで美味しいと思います!
