Ganga Aarti in Varanasi
Varanasi is famous for it's temples and paan (a flavoured mouth freshener). People from all over the world travel to the city for peace and spirituality.
The river Ganga, which is the longest river in India, flows right through the heart of the city and has a special in the Hindu mythology.
Every evening, several priests line by the "ghat" (bank) of the river to put up a mesmerizing show of worship of thr river, known as Ganga Aarti.
The environment and the people here are unparalleled. All the welcoming faces will make you want to visit the holy city again.
Apart from the Ganga Aarti, there are many other things to do in Varanasi. A lot of old Hindu temples, centuries old streets and shops, monuments of historical importance and much more.
I believe that anyone visiting India must visit the holy city atleast once.
