HANDBALL GAME.

In Handball, when the ball is caught in the game of Handball it can only be held for not more than 3 seconds without passing,shooting or dribbling. Each time a goal is scored in Handball, the game is restarted with a throw-on from the centre of the court by a player of the team against which the goal was scored. The team with the highest number of goals with the game.

The game of Handball lasts for 60 minutes of 30 minutes equal halves, with 10-15 minutes rest or interval.
The game of Handball has developed over the years across nations as it been made popular in some African countries like Angola, Egypt,Kenya,Nigeria and Tunisia.
As it stands today, some the well known football clubs in Africa now have a version of Handball teams. The like of Al Ahly of Egypt, Kano Pillars of Nigeria and so on now boost of a Handball team in their ranking.

One of the major problem facing the development of Handball game in Africa is finance.
Financial constraints has put the game of Handball backward on the continent of Africa as the governing body find it difficult to organized regular tournament that can be used to develop the game across Africa.

Infrastructure and building of Handball court is also a notable factor,as many locals still play the game on the pitch shared with the footballer. It will cost a fortune to construct a Handball court that will measure 38.44 metres by 18.22 metres considering the terrain of the continent of Africa.
