Stakes: Entry into Mizu No Oto Haiku Contest #24

This is my entry in the Mizu No Oto #haikucontest sponsored by @bananafish.

The picture prompt for this haiku was this:

The stakes in the photo seemed abandoned. They looked foreign, out of place in that open land. I wondered who put them there? Why? This was the inspiration for my haiku.

Buried stakes in barren land
With promise unmet?

I just realized this is the Spanish language version. Sorry.
I went to Google Translate andtried to work out a haiku that captured the sense of my words. Here's my post, translated and with a haiku reworked.



Esta es mi entrada en el #haikucontest de Mizu No Oto patrocinado por @bananafish.

La imagen de este haiku fue esta:

Las apuestas en la foto parecían abandonadas. Parecían extraños, fuera de lugar en esa tierra abierta. Me pregunté quién los puso allí. ¿Por qué? Esta fue la inspiración para mi haiku.

Ahora vano

I was wondering if someone would notice the stakes. Everybody seem having focused on the mountain, the clouds, and the brushwood, but the line of stakes was what hit me in the photo the first time I saw it.
