Interesting choice of kireji in the midst of the verse, creating two "enjambement"-like movements.
I like this very much @gaby-crb. It gives me the sense of natural flow of time and life, with the birds preparing a future and the river (like the river of life) flowing.
I like how you bring the background into the foreground to shift the sense of focus, creating a wider picture
