Banzai, merry company of haijin!

The 17th edition of Mizu no Oto – Every Image Has Its Haiku has come to an end.

I've had hot tips to put more pictures of cats, dogs and other pets as a contest prompt in the future!
Of course, this usually gives rise to a less serious, indeed often humorous, haiku. What do you think?

Unfortunately I must also note the chronic lack of votes and voting comments, despite my "threat" not to award secondary prizes ... but thanks to the advice of @theironfelix, with whom I had a clarifying conversation, I decided to grant more time to vote the haiku of the edition just ended!

As many of this edition haiku, even this one shows a bit of humor and irony, but it manages to keep the basic principle of transience of all things and bring us a very original variation on the theme given by the photo. Anyone who has had a cat knows the amount of hair that the pet loses and that settles on armchairs, beds, clothes, floors… Salvao imagines with a smile that even the inside of the bed is covered in cat hair (and he’s not wrong), and this smile become serious thought when he makes the contraposition between “dead fur” (the past, gone) and “living cat” (the present), in accordance with the principles of sabi and mono no aware.
