Growth-Idea - Stamps or Buttons or Emojis And A Steemit Internal Store (Which Also Sells Emojis)
Okay hear me out. You might be thinking emojis, I'm not a teenager, why would I care. First of all, everyone loves emojis. There is even a movie about them coming out this summer. Seriously, there is a trailer out and everything. I'm sure there are deeper meanings to why we like them such as it conveys emotions without words and it is a an easier way to get a message across but who cares, that one looks like poo. HA! Emojis could work well on this site and could be used in both posts, comments and most importantly on the display of your post on the feed page to personalize them more. We can also start up a shop, on steemit, so we can sell them for steem (that will get burned) and give people the option to make their own.
When we start we can have the basic ones that everyone can have access to and then add more and more that people can buy. You can also gift them to someone else. People can also make their own, and if they are approved, they will get put on the market. We do not need a bunch of dirty ones and we want to limit them at first. If you put one of your designs up, you will also get half the steem for each sale and the other half gets burned. @kaylinart I'm looking at you. This will add a creative market to the site that is separate from the posts.
The store can be set up to have all the emojis for sale and the price. I'm sure we can set it up so people can just click to buy, similar to how the internal market works and all they have to do is enter their password. When you buy an emoji it gets unlocked and you can check out the ones you have on your profile page. We will need to add another tab for that.
And they don't have to be emojis. They can be tiny animations, cards, buttons or stamps. Think of the name, steemit stamps. I want to avoid stickers as those are the new thing on the iPhone and I want to be original. Then we can have a number of how many there are in total and on your personal stamp page the number of how many you have collected. That way you will know how many you have and how many you are missing. Then people can collect them like pokemon, minus the fighting each other.
A steemit stamp collection could be a great feature that is fun, adds personality to the site, burns steem and lets people get involved.
