Thanks for the kind words! I think that this is a great way of engaging a broader community. Maybe you could create a theme for the contest. Like "Short-Stories Abroad" / "Latin Heritage" or something that you feel would resonate with a broader community of new users. I remember when @jamtaylor started the weekly photography contests on Steemit last August or so. He set a great precedent! One that has lasted long and fostered such a great community of photographers. You could do the same with the Spanish speaking community. Maybe you divide the big payout into a weekly short-story contest that builds in value over time?
For the long-term... this type of contest will work brilliantly once the Communities Feature is in place. This way, you can keep track of and empower a Spanish-speaking base.
Anyway, wonderful work! I'll be keeping in touch and working on my Spanish skills in the meantime. Likewise, let us know your feedback on "Social x Design" / "Sandbox"!
The repetitive weekly or bi-weekly is also a very interesting feature. There is already one in place called "spanishchallenge" and its a good success among existing members. In this case the idea with a high winner reward, would be to attract the media atention and even profesional or semmiprofesional writters. Nevertheless if the project get "selected" we can explore all posibilities and find the best one.
But the way, your idea/proposal/project is ammazing. You have my 100%
