MISSION

The idea is to replicate Steempark in Herbert von King Park Brooklyn, New York USA to Lagos Nigeria West Africa by collaborating with @sndbox @hitheryon @voronoi @hansikhouse by producing a Steemit and Steem funded park in the city to attract Nigerians to what Steemit is all about.

PROBLEM

The percentage of Africans knowledgeable about the Blockchain and how it could solve many of the developmental problems is critically low, a fraction of Nigerians knows what benefits the Blockchain Holds with it's cryptocurrencies. There are many Social media with little on no direct benefits to it's community.

A Country so vast with abundance of Natural resources, but poorly managed which has a tremendous impact on the Youth and the educated population as well as the less educated population. With this many skillful youths living each day without hope, and there is hope but bridging this Gap is the major challenge.

This process of bridging this void through the implementation of Steemit, a social media that rewards the smallest skill-set with cryptocurrency(Steem/SBD) is slow with a peer to peer marketing and promotional strategy:

Through Steemit, a community of the Smartest and intellectuals all over the World; where ideas are supported and modeled. We at @steem-lagos- a crew made of @oluwoleolaide (Electrical and Electronics Engineer), @lucashunter (Estate Developer/Internet Marketer), @peman (Mechanical Engineer). We intend to attract more users from Africa Nigeria Lagos through a Landmark powered by Steemit based on the ideas of the @hitheryon and @sndbox.

STEEMIT POWERED LANDMARK(Public attraction Project)

Replicating the Steempark idea in far away Brooklyn New York, as motivated by our esteem steemian @lovejoy in response to my inquiry in one of his latest post. So the plan is to create point of Steemit Attractions in major areas of the city of Lagos Nigeria, the success of which depends on our extension to other cities.

A Steemit powered physical projects in Strategical places will create massive Steemit awareness in the West Africa Giant city and Country and this will be a game Change in the adoption on Steem in the Nigerian Economy.

OUR SUCCESS MEASUREMENT

The only way for this idea to be successful is by a seamless project execution with massive support and a go-ahead from the Steemit community. It is our city, i have seen it work in the past there are various proof of life how public attractions have done wonders and exponential dissemination of information in this City. With each closeup with the built Steemit Landmark, we can guarantee thousands of passer-by in those locations and doing the Maths without exaggerations; From thousands of Citizens using each landmark axis daily, that is about a hundred new users everyday.

That is how er will you prove that the project is a success, by attracting new potential users daily through the Steemit Landmarks across the City.

A Steempark in Lagos Nigeria and a Steemit Landmark attracts the involvement of the Government both at the State and Federal level, this could be a monumental attraction to big time crypto-investors in the West African Territory.
