Gridcoin - Weekly project update (wk42)
Every week I provide the most up-to-date statistics related to Gridcoin (GRC) earnings for whitelisted projects.
On Mondays the information is gathered from BOINCStats and CoinMarketCap, after which I calculate the earnings in GRC and USD for systems with a RAC of 1000. Further details can be found in the definitions section below.
Individual project developments
The tables below contain four indicators, presenting the project development over a period of one week, one month, three months and one year.
(Data source: BOINCStats and CoinMarketCap)Gridcoin project charts
The charts below provide the longer-term trends for active user development, team contribution to the BOINC network overall and the whitelisted projects.
(Data source: BOINCStats and CoinMarketCap)Definitions
- Recent Average RAC = The total amount of RAC produced by all systems within the Gridcoin network.
- Team RAC vs Overall RAC % = The proportion of RAC output team Gridcoin has produced as part of the overall RAC for the project.
- GRC per 1k system RAC = The amount of GRC you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points. Example: You have a system which is running Rosetta@home with a RAC value of 3500. According to the chart on 24-Sep, you should gain 3.5 x 0.32 GRC = 1.12 GRC per day for this system.
- USD per 1k system RAC = The amount of USD you will receive for a system per 1000 RAC points. Example: You have a system which is running Cosmology@home with a RAC of 4700. According to the chart on 24-Sep, you should gain 4.7 x $0.0117= $0.055 per day for this system.

@parejan Does this mean that projects in green are the most profitable?
Thanks
Good quesion @newtechblog.
Green means that the value has increased as compared to 1-week, 4-weeks, 12-weeks or 1-year.
If we take Amicable Numbers, the GRC per 1k RAC has increased by 1.1% since last week but has lost 5.5% since 4 weeks.
I hope this answers your question.
ok...it is understood
No, because the same machine won't usually produce the same RAC on two different projects. I recommend checking out quickmag to help you pick between projects.
