Regarding the New Poll On the Treasury in the Gridcoin Client -- Please Vote No or Don't Vote

As the writer of the content the new poll on the treasury is based on, I need to make something clear:

I did not make this poll. I do not support this poll. I will vote no.

The content linked in the poll is not a proposal. It is a summary and outline of potential ideas.

The treasury discussion has only just begun. Please either do not vote in that poll, or vote no.

Otherwise, please join the conversation at the GitHub:

Thanks for pointing out that the conversation linked by the poll is not actually a discussion of the poll.

Also note that this poll is invalid because it does not include the required "Abstain" option for voters.

I will vote yes just because you want a no. You came up on the scene and act like you run the show and again as I keep telling the new users we are all equal accept Rob whom created this coin by mashing code from multiple coins together. This is an open source open community project and you are a peon just like the rest of us. You want to push your agenda on everybody and thats BS , that would be like trying to push your sexuality on the whole team Gridcoin and that is not cool at all " don't ask don't tell " applies to Boinc and team Gridcoin. Additionally votes need a 20% vote weight in order to pass so you may have just shot yourself in the foot before putting it directly into your own mouth and really you are just making an ass out of yourself and showing even worse leadership skills than Customminer. I wont even read the damn thing just because I think you are as pompous of a condescending punk ass as Customminer and since he needs to be replaced and disappear r I sure as hell don't think you should be the leader of team Gridcoin either or vice or what ever the hell you think you are. I would vote Caraka as a leader as he has always been professional and neutral and does not try to push collusion on votes or issues or hell even since me and Peppernrino have had our issues he sure as hell doesn't try to push his own agenda on everybody else same with fkinglag and one of those 2 should be running for one the bi-weekly mumbles along with their bi-weekly classrooms. How about instead of " vote no because I don't want this and I am a little bitch so follow me whine whine whine" just post your opinion and leave it at that vs trying to get a following on your opinion and vote its pathetic and childish. Opinions are like assholes , everybody has one and yours smell like shit. Also , just because a vote is created does not mean if it gets more than 50% ( remember 20% vote weight on foundation votes ) yes it would or will go into action as there is no honor in the leadership of team Gridcoin and its community we saw that with ODLK and the whine a whale bitch __ dutch __ hit and run after pushing his agenda after ODLK took the time to upgrade and change things adding SSL and English translation of their site after the first ODLK Whitelist vote #1 attempt hence " ODLK Whitelist Round #2 " as the second vote not " ODLK1 Whitelist " onto the GRC8 get along gang. So BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jringo how pathetic and immature.

maybe asking people to vote a specific way is going too far. probably.

meanwhile, someone took my content -- content which is not ready for a poll -- and made a poll out of it without permission or without saying that I, the person who made the content, did not make the poll.

vote however you'd like

I personally don't care if you ask people to vote a certain way. Not like we have to listen lol. If anyone is going to let themselves be told what to vote without doing any research ... well ... that's their problem, not yours.

I'm sorry but you come off as super salty. You also need to format your post man, this is painful to read. I dont think he should have asked anyone what to vote for but he has a right to bring this to attention.

Guys, you need to CHILL.
Regardless of the opinions and the style (+formatting) they were expressed in, it is deeply concerning that you flag this post such that it is hidden by default.
I saw @cm-steem do that on a recent @grc-lib-front post as well. This is not what we are about. Let people voice their concerns and doubts. Resorting to censorship does not solve anything, it makes it worse. How do you think people become salty @ragnarokdel ? They are not born that way. You make them salty by preferring condescendence over dialogue. Look at how Trump won in US.
I urge everybody to go easy on the flags and invest their time in constructive dialogue!

Downvoting is not censorship, and it's not possible to have a conversation with @jamezz on Steemit since he does not reply to comments. So far, most of what he has written here is just straight up incorrect.

  • customminer is not "the leader"
  • Von Martin is not the lead dev
  • gridcoinstats does not get 20k GRC quarterly from the foundation
  • People don't get dev payment unless they actually produce something
  • People aren't forced to used grcpool
  • Magnitude drops aren't due to the chain being broken or superblocks being tampered with

The above is repeated over and over again with no reply reception whatsoever.

I downvote if something is unnecessarily rude and/or inflammatory. I don't downvote based on the actual content of a post. I know this is the Internet, but let's have at least a bit of civility in our conversations...
