I've read that the terms of service don't allow cryptocurrency mining with the free $300 promotional credit. Running BOINC in and of itself isn't crypto mining, but once Gridcoin is in the picture, does that affect how the terms of service are understood? The fact that Gridcoin comes primarily from meaningful computation is its great strength, and I am curious to see how this plays out.
Yes, that's correct: the terms of service does not allow the usage of the free credits for cryptocurrency mining. But what is debatable is if BOINC is considered a mining client.
