Gridcoin users have a new superblock (block 987221, 2017 Aug. 7 04:57:20)

this SB was mined by an investor

Missing BOINC project in this SB:

YAFU (see here)
and it seems it will also be missing in the next SBs (see here)

And again: included the +35% magnitude boost

the boost will be, likely, ongoing until the next mandatory Gridcoin version is released (so probably for 2 weeks to give exchanges, ... enough time to prepare)

Why did the mag unit drop?

before the superblock contracts it was between 0.2 and 0.225, see here.

While it is contained in the linked Tweet, I would like to add explicitly that the reason YAFU is excluded from the superblock is due to its server being down.

The exclusion has absolutely nothing to do with the Gridcoin network. All affected crunchers will be paid out on the next inclusion of the project.
