new release: Gridcoin version 3.5.9.2 (not mandatory)
27h after releasing version 3.5.9.1... surprise !
There is now Gridcoin 3.5.9.2
For Windows users specifically:
- the new Windows installer 3.5.9.2 is soon downloadable from here,
- or you can update from within your Windows client
All other users:
- can find the source code here, OR:
- upgrade from their used location (e.g. package managers, once the responsible person for those package managers made the new version available)
Changes in this version are (more detailed here and changelog):
- Fix neural network project gather bug related to timezones
Keep in mind this is NOT a mandatory release
- the last mandatory was: version 3.5.8.8 (released on 2017 April 2)
- but... if you're running WINDOWS it would help us when you install this new 3.5.9.2 (especially when you have installed 3.5.9.1 already)
Please tell us when you experience problems!

Hi, I was on reddit asking about a general topic and someone answered my question with Gridcoin https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6lbnz3/what_is_the_best_use_for_spare_old_laptop_or/ and wanted to know if this about seems accurate that Gridcoin could be geared to be used by old spare tablets or laptops in the house?

I'm running the client on Windows, version 3.5.9.0. I tried to update through the client, but it immediately crashed the wallet. I guess I'll uninstall and then reinstall soon. Is the download link now pointing to 3.5.9.2, or still 3.5.9.1?
