Why did the mag unit drop?
before the superblock contracts it was between 0.2 and 0.225, see here.
This is really misleading. The mag unit has been dropping for a long time now. It was at 0.3 for the last time on July 13, and has been dropping steadily to where it is now since then.
The mag unit should rise again once the 35% mag boost is retired at the next mandatory.
