INTERESTING TRIALS

i work in the court system in the USA, and often get to hear and watch some fascinating trials first hand. They can be really interesting. Of course the trials i will tell you about have already long since concluded and i will not use real names. The first one i will tell you about i have named "Gregory's Heroin Addiction". I will post only a portion of the trial in each post because the trial was actually very long and very complex. So keep following to get the whole story!

Gregory had a tough time as a child. He was extremely introverted and really never had any friends. His older brother was a bully, and it was told that he had molested Gregory starting at a young age. So Gregory was a mess to start with. But then, when in the 11th grade a female student started to give him attention. We will call her Chloe. Well, Gregory just ate this up. He had never had such attention and would do anything to keep it. I mean ANYTHING. After about a year of dating, Chloe confided to Gregory that she was a heroin addict and so was her mother. She just couldn't hide it anymore and she also needed money. Well, this didn't deter Gregory. After they graduated, they promptly got married and all three of them got a house together. Gregory got a job as a cable guy and made decent money. Chloe and her mother didn't work, but required about $100 a day to maintain their level of addiction. Although Gregory was not a user, he gladly turned over every cent to his wife. He was so thankful for her "love" that he would sacrifice anything to keep her....
