Developments for GHRO

Every Sunday I hold my show #GrowingtheGREENHOUSE on #GHRO. I intend this show to be a weekly team meeting and plan forming opportunity . As most of my staff has failed to show up for them I have decided to write this post to share what was discussed. It is also a newsletter of sorts with information all need to know.

First I will address a new "rule" I would like all to be aware of.

If a dj/host fails to deliver their scheduled show without notice of absence more than one show , they shall be removed from the schedule as well as have access revoked to using our radio room and bot. While I understand things may require people to miss the occasional show, if it happens twice in a row and no notice is given I will do the above mentioned immediately . Being part of a team requires us to be considerate of the time others put into this project, as well as the expectations of our audience.

Consistency is an important key to growing this endeavor. Integrity is another.

On to developments.

Me and Dan aka @qwoyn talked about the strategy to obtain revenue via advertising. As we still are working on the plan to acquire our licensing to broadcast mainstream music and pay royalties we know we are limited in the range of potential clients.
One idea we have started to kick around is asking people interested in getting their business, projects or events more attention is to start a " donation for promotion" concept.
We look to our community here on steemit and other social media as our first wave of clients. We have an opportunity for people to spread their ideas and projects without doing the legwork of attending radio shows. As a starting point we think that for 5 dollars worth of steem/sbd a week we will run 30 second info/commercial featuring the content our client would like to be promoted.

We would run these mini ads during our LIVE shows and streams. While we are still developing this idea we encourage input from those who would be interested .
As a promotional tool GREEN HOUSE RADIO ONLINE is the perfect way for those with smaller budgets for promoting to get another avenue to spread their ideas, business , events and projects.
