Spartans betrayed by their own member Ephialtes, due to his greediness and for the sake to get good rank he betrayed with Spartans and as a result of his betrayed all the Great Spartans died in the battle of Thermopylae against the Persian army in 480 B.C.! 
Spartans last wish was that people never forget their name.
