Hello Steemit and GV friends, many of you know @paradise-found loves to cook. Today Papa Bear has a tasty low carb recipe for you to try. I can tell you Mama Bear loved this wonderful dish and I have added it to our list favorites.

BroccolI, Cauliflower & Ham Casserole

Ingredients

3 cups broccoli florets (cut small)
3 cups cauliflower florets (cut small)
2 cups diced ham
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
ground black pepper
3/4 – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or whatever kind you prefer)

Instructions

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a medium sized casserole dish with non-stick spray.

• Pre cook broccoli and cauliflower, either by steaming or boiling. Cook until just starting to become soft. Don't over cook.

• While pre-cooking the veggies, combine cream cheese, sour cream, onion powder, and garlic powder. Pepper to taste.

• When the veggies are ready, drain into a colander. Drain well, minimum of 5 mins.

• Once the veggies are drained well, combine veggies and ham and stir in the sauce mixture gently and season to taste.

• Pour veggies and ham mixture into the prepared baking dish, spread it evenly and sprinkle with the cheese of choice.

• Bake 30-35 minutes uncovered, or until the cheese is melted and lightly browned and the casserole is hot.

• Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes before serving.

Ready to eat
