Hello, awesome Steemheads!

This is an account update and a gratitude post by yours truly, @mermaidvampire. I've been in the platform for almost 9 months and this platform has been so good to me. I found dear people here who are gems and made my life even more filled with colors. I was not aware I just hit the 2k followers and I just realized that my daily game has been running for more than 3 months. These are wonderful Steemit milestones that I want to celebrate with you all.

I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people who believe in me here and support me. I'm pretty sure you know who you all are, my mentors, my daily game players, and my autovoters. For my autovoters alone, there are 50 in Steemauto and some from Steemdunk and Steemvoter. I feel so loved that these people trust that I deserve their votes everytime. You all are my inspiration and what keeps me going.

My account will be revamping again and will be having some new changes because I would like to promote some communities and I want to post blogs for them in my page. I will also be doing more projects that are related to social-causes to awaken people's awareness on relevant issues such as waste management, world hunger and many others. I hope you watch out for these things and support me in these projects.

My Daily Game has been up for 3 months and I have been so blessed to have no less than 75 people join it everyday. Even if I am not prompt with the updates, people come and join it. To be honest, I think my game is lame and boring but whenever I check the number of players, it surprises me that people are up for it always. I AM SO GRATEFUL. That game is actually a prototype of something I want to make big in the future, and you all are helping me realize it as early as now.

I think some people do not understand my game, so let me briefly discuss it's essence in my perspective. My game is a faucet, and if you don't know what that term is in the digital economy vocabulary, then probably you won't appreciate my game that much. My Steemit bestfriend, cadawg made me name it a splitter, because I split all the earnings to everyone. Leaving me with only the SP rewards and curation rewards when I self-vote my game. Sometimes I even give it all away when the payout is too low. My game does not give much but it gives a prize to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who joined it. So, there are no losers. It might be giving away cents but imagine that this game runs daily. If you lose everytime and get 0.007 SBD/Steem and you join everyday, in a week, that could be 0.049 SBD/Steem. Right now that is too low. But what if Steem recovers and cost more than 5 or 10 USD? This is the fun part of faucets. I have been into DOGE faucets for some time now and I know how it is to be collecting tiny drops and then one day realizing I have a bucket-full of it. I hope this gives you a nice idea about what I am trying to do with this game.

Actually, the game makes me feel something good whenever I see people upvote it. I have witnessed red fishes upvote me since the first month and their votes at 100% were 0.001 but now it's 0.003 or 0.006. It gives me satisfaction to see people grow with me. I have very few support from big fishes. At this point, it's just @surpassinggoogle, @good-karma, @hr1 and @minnowsupport. I can proudly say that my game thrived because of my fellow red fishes because majority of my voters are tiny red fishes and we managed to make it work and keep rolling.

The game is not it its full bloom yet, if you will ask me. I actually dream of making it better and helping the players more. One day, I will be rewarding everyone for any support that they will do to promote the game or boost it. Other than the prize, I want to reward upvoters and resteemers. In fact, I will be rewarding the resteemers starting today! I understand not everyone can vote my game because voting power is very limited. However, resteeming is not, but not everyone resteems it, it takes something for people to resteem a post and for me this is special. So on this third month, I will be rewarding resteemers of my daily game posts starting Day 90 and beyond. I won't be giving much because I don't have much really, it's just 0.001 Steem and a thank you memo, but I hope you will appreciate it.

About the upvoters, I will finalize my plan how to return the reward. At this point, the huge accounts get more curation than these little accounts that vote me, but I already have an idea in my head how to reverse that status quo. In my design, soon, bottom feeders will have big chunks of curation maybe as big as big fishes will get in curation when they upvote my post. Watch out for it when it happens. *WINKS

Evidently, I am doing this game not for myself only. Since I started this, I only have 3 goals in mind. First, I want to help as many fellow red fishes as possible, thus the no loser design. Second, I want to grow my account via SP rewards. Third, I want to gain friends. These will still be my goals and the very reasons why I will want to keep improving and make this account work to support others.

Please continue to support me, and I will also commit to continue with this for as long as I can and make this a legacy. It would be nice if one day you'll remember that there was a @mermaidvampire running a silly, boring game but it helped us find little cents.
