[Grateful Vibes #31] Grateful to God for a Good Night's Sleep
I'm grateful to God for a good night sleep.
My wife is showing the first signs of labor, but labor completely stopped. I really thought tonight was going to be an all-nighter and I was ready. But instead, my wife and I enjoyed a solid night's rest to get ready for the big moment.
We usually have a very late night with our babies.
It's when I brew the strong coffee and prepare for a long and exciting night.
This is round four and I'm beginning to get the routine down. We turn the water heater up to max (we have to be careful with that), we get the hose ready to fill the pool, the air compressor is ready to go. My parents can watch the other children for a while.
Everything and everyone is ready to go, including my wife.
Are we going to have a Thanksgiving baby?
No idea. We shall see. Maybe tonight will be the night. Until then we wait and be patient. And get some good rest before the big day.

Thanks, yes the excitement can be sensed around here. And patience. Lots of patience. The air compressor is for the birthing pool. My girls are fascinated about the idea of a pool being set up in the bedroom. @ironshield
