Lately I have been feeling really down. This is probably due to my habit of overthinking and I may be quite overwhelmed by my worries. We all have these days right? Times when as if nothing is right and you feel like a failure.
Times like this are one of the hardest and worst when you do not have anybody to cry on to and to lean on. I don't think anyone would want to be in this kind of situation so I have been praying to God to help me overcome all these.

I have been consistently praying for strength, for wisdom and for His guidance because more than anyone I know and believe He is capable of helping me the most.I may not be the very religious type but I have my faith and I believe that He never fails those who seek His help. So I have been praying while patiently waiting...and just today I realized that He has long responded to my prayer.

This morning , my sister insisted that we talk through Skype. I was a bit hesitant at first since I wasnt in the mood but I eventually gave in to her request since she was persistent(always have been).

So we started talking about things and just like the old times I confided in her. I almost cried but held back my tears because I know she would scold me ( her sweet but sarcastic way of scolding).

My sister has always been a good listener even though she talks a lot . For a moment I feel like we were near each other and I was relieved of everything that has been bothering me for weeks now. I dont know how she knows what to say when, the timing is always perfect . Her words never let me down. She was able to give me back the courage and confidence that I have lost for a long time now. I didnt realize I was smiling angd laughing the whole time we were talking. Talking to her made me feel good and I am better now.

Just like what I claimed earlier in this post, God never fails to respond to our prayers. He responded to mine a long time ago. He knew that I needed somene exactly like my sister that's why I have her as one.

This is probably why we were given our families.During the hardships and worries, they are the ones who will shower us with love and support to just keep going.

One thing me and my sisters learned when we had to part is how to be vocal about our feelings. I think it is important that we tell them we love and miss them. Yes, they already know we do, but telling them everytime we get the chance is a lot better than just them knowing it by themselves.

I decided to share this post because this really made my day and brought me back to my senses. I guess I also wanted to share that we value and love our sister and other family members.Let us remember that we are not alone through these hard times and that God has given us our families to hold on to, so we have no right to give up on things easily. We always have to claim that God will respond to our prayers because He really does. DO not let anything shake you and your faith. I would like to end this post with this wonderful bible verse:
