Graffiti Art Luxembourg

I am a passionated art-lover, especially modern/contemporary art, such as Graffiti.
A lot of people take it for granted, calling it "Vandalisme" or "disrespectful".
I don't think those people understand the history and ideologies of Hiphop, nor the street life..

Graffiti is art.
It makes our grey world a little more colourful, a little less sad.
Paint-splashes on the walls while walking to the grocery store. Small quotes in Bold, that brighten up your morning while driving to work. Murals full of patters and muster, catching everybody's attention, while looking at their phone.
Streetart is important. It helps us get through the day. With a little smile on our face.

Some take pictures, some tell their friends. In the end, everybody will forget the effort put into such a drawing.
Graffiti artists always spray their paintings knowing it could be gone by tomorrow. Their art isn't contemporary, it flows with the time.
A masterpiece will stay, confronting the rat-race and the government.

So take your spraycan and your marker. Go outside and start tagging on poles and benches. On murals and fences. Just start colouring and writing "SMILE".
People will enjoy this freshness and stepping out of this black and grey world for a second. You will see the smile on their face, only by using colour and some nice words.
