On an outing to Israel to visit the geographic destinations of the Old and New Testaments, It is fascinating to see the circumstance in Israel. Men on the shorelines in swimming outfits with submachine weapons lashed over their bodies. Going through the Golan Heights, there are signs along the streets cautioning that the fields were brimming with land mines. You’ll see a lot of other military movement too. It appeared to be so garbled: day by day life was going ahead in a standard design, yet there was dependably a danger of military showdown that could come at any minute.

What is most fascinating about the military circumstance in Israel was the means by which this little country must be set up in alert for the likelihood of a military encounter at any minute, and how it is completely dedicated to a condition of military readiness. Upon graduation from secondary school, each male in Israel is required to enter the military for three years of service. Each graduating female is required to go into the service for two years. In Israel, military readiness is the standard or norm. Furthermore, the New Testament shows that something comparative or similar is anticipated and required from the church . While it isn't the militancy of the sword, the symbolism in the Scriptures and on the mouth of Jesus in depicting the mission of the Church is acquired from the military world. An armed force's preparation is one of its most essential characteristics, and it appears that the church today surely has a sufficient number of troops. We have significant training opportunities accessible to us. What we need is the capacity to meet up for action —that is to be mobilized and equipped.
