Googly eyes Japan edition
Hi Steemians! I think there is a distinct lack of googly eyes in Japan. So today we will be combining Japan and googly eyes! It is Japoogly-time!
Googly Japanese ogre/demon
This is the face of an Oni. Oni is a Japanese demon/ogre and as you can see it is the face of true evil. During the spring festival Setsubun Oni appear in Japanese homes. But they can easily be driven away by throwing soy beans at them. Then you shout something like 鬼は外! 福は内! (which translates to: Let the demons go out! Let luck come inside). And then you will have good luck for another year!
Googly daruman
This is a Daruman doll. It is a traditional Japanese wish doll. When you make a wish you give them one google eye and when the wish comes true you give him another google eye. But if you don't have googly eyes it is also fine to color the eyes with a black pen.
