THURSDAY WK 13 ORD. TIME. 6th July 2017. Mtt. 9:1-8

Jesus got in the boat, crossed the water and came to his own town. Then some people appeared, bringing him a paralytic stretched out on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, ‘Courage, my child, your sins are forgiven.’ And at this some scribes said to themselves, ‘This man is blaspheming.’ Knowing what was in their minds Jesus said, ‘Why do you have such wicked thoughts in your hearts? Now, which of these is easier to say, “Your sins are forgiven,” or to say, “Get up and walk”? But to prove to you that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,’ – he said to the paralytic – ‘get up, and pick up your bed and go off home.’ And the man got up and went home. A feeling of awe came over the crowd when they saw this, and they praised God for giving such power to men.

REFLECTION: JESUS THE HEALER OF MY PARALYSIS.
Today we di see how Jesus di heal this man weh he be paralysed. Even though the scribes and Pharisees them been di oppose the wander work weh he di do, Jesus no been get time for all that their over law palava. He been heal this man by the belief for the people weh them bring this man for he. Me and you we get we own paralysis for this life. May be na some bad fashion weh I don di fight'am for long. Like this Juden people for today them been try for make'am make Jesus no do he work, we too plenty things them di stop we for come close to Jesus for take we healing. We di shame sometime them for come up to Jesus for hellep we. Like Jesus been cure this paralysed man, he want for cure we from we biggest paralysis; the paralysis of we heart. Plenty wowoh things dem don di block we heart and we nodi waka fine for Jesus he road. Make we prayer make Jesus heal we too today, so that we go be whole again.
