Augustine Volcano 🌋
From where I was standing zooming in to take
a photo of this rarely visible cone. It is about
67 miles across the Cook inlet from Homer
Alaska, measurement via google map.
It last erupted in 2005 and some steeming
in 2015. This is a link to the Alaska
Volcano Observatory AVO Map.
Zooming out on the map you
can see all the many volcanoes we live near.
The AVO home page has more info on the
other volcanoes and when they are on alert.

Get many earth quakes or tremors ?
Sure do! Waiting on some now, as it is
about time for Loki + stairs thunder run lol
Have felt several big ones and lots of little
ones over the years. Maybe I should try and
do a writeup on the different experiences.
There is a subduction zone under us and
volcanoes to the side, lots of nice rocks
inbetween 💎
8.2 Earthquake posting a couple months ago.
Get a ranch house to eliminate the Loki thunder run. lol Write up would be good. most people never never experienced and earth quake.
Get her a lighthouse and us a flat house lol

With spring equinox, a full moon and some
sun action, should get in the quaking mood!
It is one of those pretty shaped volcanoes, I think they blow their tops when people start to just see them as, yeah seen one seen them all, then they need to call attention to themselves and either let off a little steem or blow their tops.
They can sure huff and puff and blow
their tops off 🌋
