Madagascar - Avenue of Baobabs
Last year I travelled to Madagascar for a month. These majestic trees were one of the many highlights of the trip. The Baobab tree has nine species of which 6 can only be found in Madagascar. They have immense trunks and can be over 1000 years old.
The Avenue of Baobabs is a popular place to watch the sunset. Since the tourism industry in Madagascar isn't large, especially since the recent plague outbreak, the road isn't very busy or swarming with tourists.

Sailing there would be amazing. I had some friends that were surfing there at the time and loved it.

The trees look like something out of someone's crazy imagination. These trees were here longer than we've been alive and will be around long after we're gone.
