Bantry Bay - Sculpture at Sunset
This is a picture of the "Odyssey" Sculpture on the Railway Pier in Bantry Bay, Ireland.
It was created by Barry Linnane and was erected in 2014.
It's intention is to reflect the illusive beauty of West Cork and with a such beautiful Irish sunset in the background I think it is successful in this.

It's almost like the Sauron, I bet it could be framed like this, depending on the position of the sun. Love the shot, either way.

It's the eye from Lord of the rings ... sorry .. I'm just being silly.
If I had to guess I would have guessed it was Lord of the Rings so it must have been at the back of my mind. I don't remember the eye though!
