Golden Glow Over Trishul Peaks
The picture is taken in an evening of snowy winters in Gwaldam village on my annual winter family road trip to the Himalayas. Gwaldam offers one a fine, close up view of Trisul Peaks in Uttarakhand. The three peaks are known as Trisul I, Trisul II and Trisul III, located about 15 KMs from Nanda Devi Parbat. At an altitude of 7120 Mtrs, Trisul is a set of three peaks wherein Trisul I was the first peak over 7000 Mtrs to have ever been climbed in the year 1907.
